Christos Kakkavas is the Head of Corporate Solutions in Athens Economics ltd, the company that represents JLL in Greece. He is a Member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), member of the Association of Chief Executive Officers, member of IFMA Greece, member of EEL (ex-member of Board of Directors). Chris was recently elected board member of the IFMA Greece Chapter, thus gaining further insight in sectoral developments and rules & regulations, as they gradually come into force and change the shape and essential features of new stock

Chris’ background is in Geography & Urban Planning:. He holds a MSc (Urban Planning) National Technical University of Athens, and a BA (Geography) University of Aegean. He have participated in scores of panels and conferences, offering valuable insight into trends and market expectations regarding the industrial & logistics sector.

He has been actively involved in Local Government since 1990 and has been continuously elected as Mayor of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni since 2014, securing over 70% of the vote in the first round. At the same time, he serves as the First Vice President of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE) and is a member of multiple administrative and executive boards of organizations in Greece and Europe.
