Curriculum Vitae of the Speakers
- Angelos Sarris was born in the late 1970s and completed his schooling in Athens before moving to the UK for five years of university studies. He ended up staying in London for 20 years, initially working as an employee for a major construction company before starting his own business. He has been involved in rentals, property management, sales, and later in property construction and renovation. He moved back to Athens with his family in 2020 and since then has built and renovated apartments and buildings in central Athens, the southern suburbs, and Piraeus for both domestic and international clients. Real estate has become something of a passion for him, as it allows him to combine his creativity with interaction with people from diverse countries and backgrounds.
- Dimitris Foutsis was born in Athens, graduated with honors from I.M. Panagiotopoulos School, studied at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and continued his postgraduate studies at the University of Bonn (Germany) in European corporate law. He then worked at Clifford Chance (Frankfurt), and since 2006 has been practicing law in Greece with a specialization in Property Law at the law firm FOUTSIS & PARTNERS, where he is Managing Partner. Since 2015, he has also been practicing law in Cyprus and is the President of the Hellenic-Czech Chamber of Commerce.
- Dr. Angela Michalopoulou has over 25 years of experience in real estate investment and development, with a focus on the Greek market. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Patras and an MBA from ALBA. She has served as General Director of Property Portfolio Management at the Hellenic Public Real Estate Corporation and as an executive at Enterprise Greece, contributing to the attraction of foreign investments. She has also worked at Information Society SA and SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises) on issues related to technological upgrading and knowledge transfer. Currently, she is Business Development Director at DKG Development, responsible for property acquisitions, project development, and sales growth. She has expertise in strategic property management, negotiations, and sustainable development.
- Lefteris Perrakis is a Civil Engineer who graduated from the National Technical University of Athens (2001), having completed his thesis through the Erasmus program at Université de Cergy-Pontoise in Paris. With 23 years of experience, he has collaborated with real estate developers, technical and shipping companies, hoteliers, and entrepreneurs, delivering projects ranging from student studios and luxury villas to hotel renovations, office buildings, and high-end gyms. Some of his work has been featured in architectural magazines. Over the past eight years, he has focused on real estate development in South Athens, in the emerging area known as the Athenian Riviera, with a strong emphasis on innovative and high-quality construction. He was born in Athens in 1976, is married, and has two teenage children.
