Dr. Wissam Fahed holds a PhD in International Business and Strategy and has over two decades of academic experience, teaching business and economics courses at institutions such as the Lebanese American University, the Lebanese University, and in the United States. His expertise extends beyond academia, having served as a consultant for prominent organizations like the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank, and the Ministry of Finance. Dr. Fahed has also presented at international conferences and published numerous academic works.

Currently, Dr. Fahed is the Managing Director and Chairman of Fahed Retail Holding, where he oversees the development and expansion of retail centers and several ventures in the food industry, including distribution, import, packaging, and restaurants. Additionally, he serves as the CEO of Apta Management Corporation, based in Athens, Greece, focusing on property development and management.

Dr. Fahed’s leadership extends to several boards of local and international organizations. He is the current President of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Lebanon and the Vice Chair of the World Vision Board of Advisors. He also plays an active role in the 100% Liban think tank. Beyond his executive roles, Dr. Fahed is committed to supporting entrepreneurship. As a mentor at the American University of Beirut’s (AUB) Investment Park incubation program, he provides guidance to startups and has been involved as an angel investor, nurturing the next generation of business leaders.
